What is a Ceramic coat?

In addition to the chemical bond it gives the car a hydrophobic layer of protection. Ceramic coats are a semi-permeant solution do to the chemical bond between the solution and the paint.
What is the difference between wax and ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating provide higher protection than wax. Ceramic coatings are heat resistant, and uv resistant and can protect against minor damages. Wax is a coating that sits on top of the paint and is cosmetic for the most part.
